Lindsay Lohan Admits She Tested Positive For Drugs

Lindsay Lohan, girl, when are you going to learn. Consider this our open letter to you. Over the weekend, Lohan admitted that she failed her court-ordered drug test and even posted the news on her Twitter account. Lohan Tweeted the following, misspellings and all: "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge [Elden] Fox next wee as a result." The judge did tell the starlet that if she failed any of her drug tests, she might have to serve more jail time. Considering that she was weeping and terrified of jail, there is only one word to describe Lohan's behavior: Fail. EPIC FAIL! And not just because she failed the sobriety test.
Lohan also Tweeted: "Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps." Ok, let's break that sentiment/statement down. Positive steps would be staying away from the drugs altogether, especially when you just got out of jail and are threatened with returning to jail if you fail to comply with judge's orders. But hey, what do we know? All in all, it makes it hard for the public to empathize with her when she continues to repeat her mistakes.
Lohan is required to be tested daily and also said, "This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences." We've heard this from Lohan before, many times, so it's hard to take her apologies and excuses seriously.
I think her mother and mom-a-ger Dina Lohan should really intervene here, because Lohan's career and her celebrity status are little more than a train wreck at this point. It's sad and tragic that so much potential and early-demonstrated talent has been cast aside. Lohan constantly says she is just like other young people her age, but she's not. Once she recognizes this, she can truly embark on a path to healing and comebacks. We don't mean to sound quite so New Age'y, but…
What do you think of Lohan's relapse?
