Lindsay Lohan Sued

Tabloid darling Lindsay Lohan is in trouble again. The perennially plagued actress, who has managed to stay on the right side of the law over the course of the past year after a tumultuous 2007, is being sued by three men who were passengers in the vehicle that she commandeered during a street chase with the mother of her personal assistant last year.
Ronnie Blake, Jakon Sutter, and Dante Negro are the plaintiffs who claim that Lohan jumped behind the wheel of their car and said, “If you touch me, I’ll sue.” The men also contend that they asked her to stop the chase but that she refused. After the incident, Lohan was arrested for drinking and driving and for possession of cocaine. She eventually pleaded guilty to being under the influence and no contest to the reckless driving charges. She served 84 minutes in jail and promptly checked herself into rehab after the incident.
The plaintiffs are seeking a minimum of $25,000 in damages from the actress for battery, false imprisonment, and negligence. Lohan’s lawyer Ed McPherson maintains that the men had a great time that night and never acted like they were fearing for their lives as they played with the radio and actually got in and out of the car, appearing to enjoy hanging out with the famous actress.
