Linkin Park Secret Show on the Horizon

Linkin Park's much anticipated and buzzed about secret show is still on the horizon. The band has challenged fans, via Music For Relief, to raise money for Japan Tsunami Relief in order to gain access to a private concert at an intimate venue! All you have to do is raise some cash for a good cause and you get to enjoy a special Linkin Park show, the likes of which you will not be able to attend in the future. How's that for brilliantly philanthropic? Nice going, LP!
Here are the details: every supporter who raises at least $500 will be invited, with a guest, to a private Linkin Park concert in a small, intimate venue in the Los Angeles area. The location of the show will be disclosed only to those who reach their fundraising goal, so get to work raising $500 for the this beyond worthwhile cause.
Joining forces with Linkin Park on this campaign are Japan's B'z, the best-selling artist in the history of Japan. B'z who recently contributed a track to MFR's Download to Donate campaign and are involved in various relief efforts to help rebuild their homeland, will also perform at the show.
Participants can begin fundraising by going here. Interested parties have until August 24th to reach their fundraising goal in order to gain access to the show.
But that's not even the half of it!
The most exclusive experiences are reserved for those who raise even more than $500. The Top 50 fundraisers will attend a meet and greet with Linkin Park band members, while the Top 10 will also receive signed instruments from the band. The top fundraiser will be invited to watch the show from the stage. Now that should be more than enough incentive to raise funds. And remember, at the end of the day, the people of Japan need your help. Big ups to Linkin Park for bringing this enduring issue to the forefront months after the earthquake and tsunamis that rocked the country.
Have you taken part in this brilliant initiative yet?
