Linkin Park want to help aspiring musician partnered with Open Labs and Dell to create a one-of-a kind music creation software. The band and software developer have joined forces to create a compelling and affordable solution for professional musicians to live out their dreams. The product of years of testing on stage and in the studio, MUSIC OS (Linkin Park Edition) is a unique and powerful software package that makes it easier for musicians to create, organize, perform and share the music they make.
Music OS is a high-performance enabled Windows 7 app. The software allows experienced musicians to learn how to create, organize and share their music on a PC. Linkin Park has worked closely with the Music OS team to craft the current and future software product, which will take advantage of new features in Microsoft's Windows 8 launch in October.
"I would recommend Music OS to any music professional," says Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park producer and vocalist. "For a touring musician, it's the perfect tool for creating, organizing and performing live."
The Linkin Park Edition product line will include Music OS software with exclusive Linkin Park sounds. For the first time, the band is providing a robust library of sounds, loops and kits, allowing users to create their own songs using signature sounds created by the band themselves. Availability for these products will begin June 7th on Dell computers, with LP sounds continuing to be updated throughout the year.
Now the time has come to share this innovative software with fans through this exclusive offer - purchase the Linkin Park Edition on dell.com/openlabs. Additional exclusive sounds will be offered to LPU members who purchase the Linkin Park Edition, which will be provided to users during a July 2012 OS software update.
