Three Days Grace kick all kinds of ass live.
Plus, their new album, Transit of Venus sounds downright deadly when they perform cuts from it on stage. Given their ability to knock any crowd out, we decided to ask frontman Adam Gontier what his three favorite concerts were…
He shared those with ARTISTdirect.com editor in chief Rick Florino in this exclusive list below!
Three Days Grace's Adam Gontier Shares 3 Favorite Concerts
"I'd have to say the first concert I went to. I was eleven-years-old, and I saw Elton John in Toronto. My mom took me to that."
"My second favorite concert was Paul McCartney when I was 16-years-old. I actually took my mom to that for her birthday."
"Then, there's Pearl Jam. I've seen them a couple of times, but they played a show about eleven years ago outside of Toronto, and it was incredible. They're a great band. They always have been one of my all-time favorites. When I was 14-years-old and just starting to write music, I had a guitar in my hand and I was listening to Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and stuff. We recently just played a festival, and Mike McCready was on stage with one of the bands that was playing. I had a chance to hang out with him which was really cool for me because I love them so much."
