Listen to Beach's "Ibuprofen" - She changed her name from "Bitch" to "Beach"

    Life's a beach, not a bitch!

Beach (formerly Bitch) is releasing her new full length In Us We Trust on July 16. It's an indie-electro rock collaboration between Karen Mould (the artist formerly known as Bitch) and Billie Jo (Aligator).

Fused together by electric violin and chaotic energy, the new LP represents such an important shift in sonic landscape that she was moved to name the project something that was a total departure from her former self: from Bitch to BEACH.

Album cut "Ibuprofen" is an anthemic breakup song featuring a biting rap chorus and distorted vocal layers.

Regarding the name change: The name change reflects "a place where everything shifts," leaving behind her old persona allowed her to write from a more expansive, playful and wild way. With no limits, like the beach itself.

We love the new name, Bitch. Er, we mean Beach!

Did you take a dose of "Ibuprofen?"
