Is it summer yet? Since it sure feels like it, despite the iced over ground on the East Coast and in the Midwest, thanks to Colbie Caillat's easy, breezy new single, "I Do," which boasts a massive hook that will embed itself into your brain. Caillat's music has always had a soft, supple flow and "I Do" is no exception. The song appears on Caillat's upcoming new album, All of You, which is due out May 3rd.
The album is supposedly upbeat and Caillat-like, so it should make you feel like you are hanging out at the ocean, with the sun kissing your face. But she also indulges in a little collaboration with rapper Common on the disc. It's not expected, but I love when artists give us unpredictable little twists with their music.
Check out the audio for "I Do" now! Seriously, you will not be able to expunge this one from your brain. I found myself doing a little dance around my house on my tiptoes when I had it playing loudly in the background. It transported me to Malibu; it has the airy California vibe.
