The music for the single was written and produced by both band members -- Rose Suau and Mario Suau. Rose also authors all lyrics for the band.

Some background info: Invisible Twin marks a new path for the duo, whose musical origins began in the mid '90s as the indie pop group, Shoestrings. After marrying and taking an extended hiatus to focus on careers, the two began writing again and soon found that their music had set them on a much darker trajectory.

This transition was demonstrated more recently as they remixed tracks for such Scandinavian acts as Acid House Kings, Dylan Mondegreen and Alpaca Sports.

"Trouble" exemplifies the indelible mark of musical influences left on Invisible Twin, recalling early 4AD, The Cure, and glimpses of '90s shoegaze from their youth.

The track opens with Mario's solemn vocal accompanied by a backdrop of haunting church organ strains. It unfolds steadily into a blend of urgent rhythm, shimmering strings and harp, effect-laden guitars, and the clang of an ominous chime.

Enough words and descriptors -- listen for yourself.
