    During Record Store Day, Jack White set up a Voice-o-Graph machine from 1947 to let visitors record their voices and receive a dispensed record after.

    He entered the recording booth himself and recorded a cover of Loretta Lynn's "Coal Miner's Daughter." Listen to it below, as it sounds like it was recorded in 1947, thanks to the scratchy, gritty sound.



    In case you don't recall, Jack, back when he was pimpin The White Stripes, produced Ms. Lynn's album Van Lear Rose, so these two have a bit of a history.
