At the start of January in recent years, Kanye West has released a new track to celebrate the new year. This year, despite recent hospitalization due to exhaustion, it appears as if the rapper refuses to break with tradition and has continued his output with an appearance on a Tyga track called "Feel Me".

The two rappers are practically family — Tyga signed to GOOD music, West's own label in September, and is in a relationship with West's sister-in-law Kylie Jenner. This release marks West's return to work following hospitalization, it seems like a safe step to get back to work in a family friendly environment.

In a typical verse from Tyga the rapper uses the opportunity to display his wealth and good fortune; referencing the $200,000 black Mercedes Maybach he gifted his girlfriend for her 19th birthday, spitting: "Kylie Jenner thick, you gotta feel me/ Happy birthday, here's a Benz, feel me?" West also references his wife, and sibling to Kylie with his contribution of a similar verse: "Kim K thick, you gotta feel me / At the dealership like what's the dealy?"

Later in the track Tyga references his former label, Cash Money, saying: "I need my cash money/ A milli, a milli, a milli, a milli/ These bitches is litty/ My n---as is litty/ We lit up the city you feel me."

If this new track is anything to go by, it seems as if Kanye West will continue 2017 as he left 2016 — pursuing his artistic vision and shrewd self-promotion.
