Kanye West has added a new song to his continuously evolving album, The Life of Pablo. Titled "Saint Pablo," the track features vocals from Sampha and was first teased at a private party at Los Angeles, California's 1OAK. The song was produced by Mike Dean, Allen Ritter, and Kanye, and lists Sampha, Jay Z, and West as songwriters and composers. The song is now the new closer to Pablo.

Kanye boasts, "I know I'm the most influential / that Time cover was just confirmation / this generation's closest thing to Einstein / so don't worry about me I'm fine," making it clear that he has no intention of backing off from any of his statements made earlier this year. The track also discusses Kanye's online behavior from earlier in 2016, "People trying to say I'm going crazy on Twitter / My friends said to stay low / I guess it's hard to decipher all of the deals, especially when you got family members on payroll / The media said it was outlandish spending / The media said 'He's way' out of control / I just feel like I'm the only one not pretending / I'm not out of control, I'm just not in their control."

Later in the song, West recounts his dealing with Apple saying, "the company offered him $100 million – $20 million of which he would have given Tidal owner Jay Z – but instead opted to stay loyal to Jay Z's streaming service," according to Rolling Stone. The lyrics say, "But it's better that I stayed at home with my folks / 'Cause if Jay a billionaire then I'm a never go broke."
