Lady Gaga is from NYC, so from afar, she witnessed her hometown being pounded by and left without power due to the winds and rain of Hurricane Sandy. She often tweeted how sad she was to be far away from home and on tour while her home city was being ravaged. She sent her love and also shared a demo of a song she wrote as a teen. It's called "No Floods" and take a listen to it below.
It's a pretty piano ballad and we're happy that Gaga shared it. The lyrics center on how you "can't flood this town." How incredible is the subject matter? And it's so beautiful that she shared it.
It was her gift to the people who were struggling in her home area.
