The old adage that luck is preparation meeting opportunity is not a cliché. Just ask Spree Wilson. "Yeah...I was sleeping in a train station just two years ago / Now some things are changing and it's feeling like a miracle." One only has to hear this opening line of his new single "King Sh*t (The Answer)" ft. Novel, which is available for free download by going here.

Get a glimpse inside of the true-life journey of this RCA-signed rapper/singer/songwriter. The incredible lyric video for the song, shot only on an iPhone, can be seen here.

We love that he shot a lyric vid on an iPhone. That's innovation.

Also, Spree will release his second mixtape The Spark for free download in early March, featuring production from trio Organized Noise (OutKast). It is Spree's first new collection of songs since the release of his much-buzzed-about 2011 debut mixtape The Never Ending Now (presented by Converse). That project garnered him critical praise for pushing boundaries with his undeniable ability to layer his thoughtful songwriting and hip-hop roots with his rock'n'roll inspirations, eclectic influences and top-notch musicianship.

Did you check out "King Sh*t (The Answer)?" Did you like it?
