Gates opened on Wednesday at the Somerset diary farm that will be playing host to one of the largest music festivals in the world and this year features headline acts Artic Monkeys, Mumford and Sons and the Rolling Stones. Tickets to the event which is now in its 43rd year sold out in minutes and that was before any of the headline acts had been confirmed. After a seven- year absence, Orange County's Lit have returned to the studio with producer Matt Wallace. The band plans to release new music by the end of the year, but in the meantime, have posted a brand new demo with exclusive video footage for the song "You Tonight" on www.LitBand.com.

While most artists aren't willing to share new material until it's fully produced, Lit are going against the grain and are excited to offer a sneak peak of their unfinished demo for "You Tonight" with their fans. In true Lit fashion, the band have taken it one step further by making a video for the demo track that includes live performance footage and off-stage candid moments that were all captured on the band's recent 2011 Spring tour. How unconventional and fan-friendly of Lit!

In addition, Lit are also offering a free download of their 2011 re-recording of "Miserable," which reached the top of the alternative rock Billboard charts when it was released in 2000. You make me come...pletely miserable. Love that little play on words. Remember that song?

For a free download of Lit's re-recording of "Miserable," to watch the video for the demo version of "You Tonight" and to get up to speed on tour dates and exclusive content go here.

Oh, and I dig Lit's Slide Bar, which is located in Fullerton, California. I've spent quite a few nights there. It's a cool, rock 'n' roll joint.

Did you check out "You Tonight" or the re-recording of "Miserable?"
