Live Nation Launches 'No Service Fee Wednesdays'
More than five million lawn tickets and hundreds of amphitheater concerts have been tapped as part of a 24-hour sale from Live Nation. Set to launch June 3 at 12:01 a.m., "No Service Fee Wednesdays" will impact shows from such artists as blink-182, Depeche Mode, No Doubt, Nickelback and Coldplay.According to Billboard.com, service fees typically average about one third of the total ticket cost. While this Wednesday's special will only last for a day, Live Nation says they will present similar "No Service Fee Wednesdays" specials throughout the summer at LiveNation.com.
