Rapper/actor LL Cool J is pissed. Apparently, the fine folks at Fox News recycled an old video clip from a 2008 interview with LL –Todd Smith on all legal documents- and refashioned it as part of Real American Stories, a special hosted by Palin that aired last night. The show is being billed as the first installment of a new series that features real-life tales of overcoming adversity in the American landscape. Zzzzzzzzzz. Who needs Ambien when you've got Real American Stories with Sarah Palin hosting to put you to sleep?

"Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else and are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palin's Show. WOW," LL tweeted late Tuesday. Guess we know who LL voted for in the last presidential election with that comment! The mogul's rep said yesterday that "contrary to what was reported, LL Cool J was never scheduled to be a guest on Real American Stories."

The offending clip was aired on the Fox News website to aid in promotion of the Palin-hosted show, but has since been removed. Ever see LL's arms? You definitely don't want to mess with that guy, so good move, Fox News, on axing the clip! If LL's claims are indeed true, producers shouldn't have used them in the first place. Tsk tsk. So much for responsible journalism over in Rupert Murdoch-ville!

Is Fox that unethical that it recycled an old clip to promote a totally different program? Should LL pen a rap anthem in response?
