Lollapalooza Headed to Israel Next Year

Perry Farrell will bring his formerly traveling, now one-off in multiple cities Lollapalooza festival to Israel next year. The tour used to be a national trek, but then it was reduced to a one-city event in Chicago, and it's been massive.
Lollapalooza will head to Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park in August, 2013 as the first-ever large-scale international music festival in the country! That's a big deal. We love when alt rock goes multinational and the people of Israeli are probably super psyched to have an event of this caliber.
Farrell would also like to hold a similar show in Jerusalem.
"We got a call from Jerusalem, the Holy City, and they want Lollapalooza to be there, too," he told CNN. "But it's going to start in Tel Aviv, and we're going to do something in Jerusalem. The mayor's like, 'We want to bring young people, we want to change the perception of Jerusalem.' So we're even talking with them about it."
This is amazing news!
There were Lolla gigs in Chile and Brazil in the past two years.
Would you go see Lollapalooza in Israel if given the chance?
