Being a cashier at pressed juice and smoothie store is certainly not the easiest way to pay the bills. Just think of the people and tiny dogs you'd have to deal with on a daily basis — let's not kid ourselves, people with tiny dogs love cold pressed juice. But sometimes, it's those hard working jobs that end up giving you opportunities that you would have never expected. Take Ayesha from Liquiteria in New York City for example, she is a new hire at the smoothie shop, and was lucky enough to serve Lorde.
Lorde, being the kind Kiwi we all expect her to be, isn't one to take a hard day's work for granted, and apparently hit it off with Ayesha. As you can see from the video below the two clearly got along, which prompted Lorde to invite Ayesha to this weekend's Governors Ball, where the New Zealand starlet happens to be performing.
In other Lorde news, she is planning to roll out a new song this Friday, just in time for her huge New York City festivals set. We aren't sure what the track will be as of yet, but we do know the singer is super excited about it. She told the world via her Twitter, "this next song is like my favourite thing i've ever done it truly sounds like nothing i've heard in the best way."
Lorde's new album Melodrama is due out June 16th, and from what we've heard, it's going to do so much more than just live up to the hype.
