Luke Bryan Starting Second Farm Tour
Wed, 11 Aug 2010 11:04:25
Capitol Records Nashville artist Luke Bryan will embark on a second Farm Tour run of shows in his home state of Georgia in late September. The idea of the concerts is that they are a way to give back to local farming communities by celebrating and lifting up the American Farmer and offering a fun escape with outdoor shows. Proceeds from the concerts will go to charities in the farming communities. Deltapine® is the official sponsor of the 2010 Farm Tour. What an excellent and entertaining way to give back.
The Farm Tour shows will be held at the Coffee Weed Plantation in Valdosta on September 28, the Hurricane Branch Plantation in Statesboro on September 29, the VFW Fairgrounds in Carrollton on September 30 and on October 1 at Luther Williams Field in Macon, Georgia. "I come from an area just like those we have chosen to perform in," said Bryan in a statement. "I grew up working on my father's peanut farm and know how hard these farmers work. We hope to give them a chance to take a break and enjoy themselves with a night of music."
Tickets will be available starting today at and through local area retail outlets soon.
Are you a Luke Bryan fan? Will you see these shows if you live in Georgia?
