M.I.A. headlined the Hard NYC festival on Governors Island this past Saturday but she cut her set short due to inclement weather. The rapper went on Twitter to announce that she will to try and make it up to her disappointed fans. "fuck it!" she wrote. "im gonna do a free show in nyc when i get back, tho i dont have powers over rain! if u still have the hard ticket u free! xxxo." A few minutes later, she followed up that Tweet by extending the free show offer a bit further by Tweeting the following: "if u do me a lil dance , ill let u in too!"

Would you attend a free M.I.A. show? Will this media-savvy musician make good on her word?
