Madonna Journals Pulled From eBay Auction

The sleuths at TMZ reported that 12 journals penned by Madonna have been yanked from an eBay auction earlier this week. The man who was running the eBay auction claimed he received the journals and other Madonna items in a blind auction. eBay removed his listing on Monday morning, since someone from Madonna’s camp convinced eBay that "they" rightfully own these journals, not the man running the auction.
An eBay spokesperson confirmed they did receive a claim from Madonna's camp and have since pulled the auction from their site. Just like the auction site protects its "power sellers" when they receive negative feedback from buyers, it looks like the folks at eBay are doing their best to foster positive celebrity relations. The seller is confident that the stuff is his and he has the right to do whatever he wishes with it. The journals are expected to fetch at least $2.5 million when sold.
Madonna and her reps have not made an official statement on the matter.
Do you think these journals are authentic? And how did this seller get a hold of them? Wonder what Madge will do to them if she gets them back?
