    Madonna will expand her MG Icon fashion range with shoes this fall, according to fashion trade WWD.

    The Madge-branded footwear will be produced in conjunction with Aldo Group Inc. and will boast more than 60 styles with price points ranging from $89 to $349. Arianne Phillips, the costume designer on Madge's directorial debut W.E. and a stylist herself, has come aboard as a creative consultant to the line, which targets consumers age 27 to 50.

    "Her fingers are really on this brand," Phillips said. "The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can't live without. You can always depend on her to bring her style and provocateur quality, but she also has a very feminine perspective." Yeah, that pretty much sounds like Madonna and her iconic style.

    Madge will appear in the consumer ads promoting the shoes and will be wearing proto versions of them on her world tour this summer, which kicks off in Israel in May.
