CartMan Who Killed Dave Navarro's Mother Off Death Row

John Riccardi, the man who murdered the mother of Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro back in 1983, has left California's death row.
Riccardi was convicted of shooting and killing his girlfriend, Connie Hopkins Navarro, and her best friend Susan Marshall Jory, in 1994. He was a fugitive after the murders and then caught in 1991 after a TV viewer provided tips to the authorities after seeing his story on a news program. He received the death penalty.
On Monday, July 16, officials at the California Supreme Court reversed his death sentence, ruling that Riccardi, now 76, was denied a fair trial due to an excused juror.
