Man Who Nabbed Amy Winehouse Foundation Domain and Name Rights Speaks Out

The man who is delaying the launch of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which her father Mitch is trying to establish in light of her death, is playing a bit of hard ball. He purchased the website domain and the registered the foundation's name, making it difficult for the late singer's father to get things going.
Martin McCann, a west London resident, has said that he will not hand over the rights to the name "Amy Winehouse Foundation" or the website domain while her father, Mitch Winehouse, tries to pressure him into doing so. "Detach yourself from emotions and think business," McCann said to The Sun. "I'm not exploiting anything yet. I've just bought some domain names. Anybody could have. It only takes the click of a mouse." Mitch Winehouse has called McCann a "dickhead" in the press, since he has had to return donated funds since they can't launch a bank account for the charity yet due to name issues. What a mess.
McCann also said that he registered the foundation in honor of a different Amy Winehouse. "She's not the only Amy Winehouse in the world," he said. "I'm not ashamed or embarrassed."
Do you believe Martin McCann's story? Or do you think he is trying to profit off Amy Winehouse's death?
