Octave-reacher Mariah Carey is launching her new perfume, Lollipop Bling, which comes in three scent variations. Carey says was inspired by husband Nick Cannon's proposal. "The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick's marriage proposal to me," Carey said in a press release. "He first surprised me with a Ring Pop -- romantic, fun and young-at-heart -- like me!" O to the M to the G. That's what happens when a woman gets all giddy and romantic.
Cannon, 29, proposed to Carey, 40, in 2007 and disguised the diamond as a Ring Pop. What can I say? The guy is creative.
As for the perfumes? They are inspired by candy flavors and Carey's song titles. Elizabeth Arden is the parent company behind the brand of scents, so you know it's not cheap shit. Topps, the company that owns Ring Pops, a candy stand favorite. Cannon gave his wife a custom-made Ring Pop for their two-year anniversary in April. It was handcrafted at Jason of Beverly Hills jewelers and was made of white gold, white diamonds and pink sapphires. Now that is some serious Lollipop Bling.
