Mark Wahlberg, James Franco Make a Date

Mark Wahlberg and James Franco are joining Tina Fey and Steve Carell in Date Night. The actors will take supporting roles in the comedy which features Fey and Carell as a married couple whose date nights become rote until one particular date goes horribly wrong and they are mistaken for others.

Leighton Meester, Kristen Wiig, and Taraji P. Henson have also recently joined the cast. Wahlberg will play a successful man who flirts with Fey, while Franco will star as a con man and criminal. Meester has been cast as the couple's babysitter, with Henson as a police officer who fears the couple may be in danger. Wiig will play the best friend of Fey's character. 20th Century Fox will release the film, which begins shooting in Los Angeles next week.
