Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell Bring Their B Game

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are teaming up. The unlikely pair will star together in a project dubbed B Team. The duo will play cops in what has been pitched as a comedy caper. The film will be produced by Gary Sanchez Productions and Mosaic. Adam McKay, a frequent Ferrell collaborator who has directed the funny man in smash successes such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and in last summer's Step Brothers, is on schedule to direct B Team.

Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the film, although no release date has been scheduled. The studio is expected to put the film into production rather quickly, though. The film's script is just about finished and ready to go.
