Martha Wash Releases New Single "I've Got You"

Does the name Martha Wash ring a bell? The powerhouse vocalist has one of the biggest voices around and she is the voice behind still culturally relevant songs like "It's Raining Men" and "Sweat [Everybody Dance Now.]" Wash has released a powerful ballad about standing strong called "I've Got You." It's a tender, heartwarming ode to keeping your head up no matter what life throws at you, especially when you've got a rock solid support system behind you!
Even three decades deep into her career, Wash's voice commands your attention and wraps you in its signature warmth for the whole of "I've Got You." Wash has also received the Keys to the City from Miami, and her hometown of San Francisco, CA. and Washington D.C have both declared a "Martha Wash Day." In the years since Martha first made her indelible mark on the industry, she's continued to release some of her most captivating music, perform worldwide, while working to call attention to causes closest to her heart. Martha has become the official spokesperson for QSAC Inc., a non-profit organization providing comprehensive services to individuals with Autism and their families. She will lend her distinctive and powerful voice to help spread QSAC's mission of helping individuals with autism to live meaningful and fulfilled lives in our society. She also resides on the Board of Directors with the Huntington Arts Council, a not-for-profit that inspires lives and minds through education, entertainment and intellectual motivation, ensuring each of us a place for expression and creativity.
In 2004, Martha started her own music label, Purple Rose Records, and released the soulful and dance-inspired tune, "You Lift Me Up," which shot to Top 5 on the Billboard Dance Charts. She also lent her talents to the 2007 hit, "Keep Your Body Working" which reached #1. "I've Got You" is the debut single of Martha's upcoming album, a breathtaking blend of pop and R&B that Martha's devoted fans will love and engage new crowds across the globe.
