Martin Scorsese is set to direct Sinatra, a biopic about legendary entertainer Frank Sinatra. The screenplay is said to revolve around the life and times of 'Ol' Blue Eyes,' as Sinatra was known.

Universal has been developing the project under the radar, after securing the rights to Sinatra's life and music from Frank Sinatra Enterprises. The process of obtaining the rights was arduous and took several years to complete. There's been no indication of who will play the crooner.
