Marvin Gaye's family wants rapper T.I. to also be held accountable for copyright infringement in the "Blurred Lines" case.
A jury ruled that Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams copied Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" and were ordered to pay up north of $7 million dollars. The duo says they will appeal.
The jury felt T.I.'s contribution, which was a rap added after the song was written and recorded, was not part of the infringement.
However, the family has asked a judge for the verdict to include T.I.
What. A. Mess.
