Mary J. Blige Sued Over Canceled Concert

There are more money problems for financially embattled singer Mary J. Blige. The R&B icon is accused of reneging on a deal to perform in Dallas, Texas on December 9, pulling out of the commitment mere days before the concert.
Vision Entertainment Worldwide is claiming that Blige was paid a $145,000 deposit to secure the gig, but she kept the money after the show was axed.
The suit suggests that MJB ditched the Dallas show in order to perform with The Rolling Stones at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 8. That's the gig of a lifetime, and we can't blame her for choosing the Stones gig over the Dallas gig. But there are consequences to such actions, if she did indeed ditch the show in Texas for the show with the Stones. She should take responsibility.
Vision is said to be seeking the $145,000 in repayment.
Do you think this suit has merit?
