Matthew Goode Makes the Leap

Watchmen's Matthew Goode is leaping back into romantic comedies after stint in the world of comic book adaptation. The dashing actor will star opposite Amy Adams in a quirky rom-com dubbed Leap Year. Goode will play a cynical Irish innkeeper who ends up reluctantly assisting Adams' character as she embarks on a quest to propose on Leap Year Day in Ireland, according to a long-held tradition. The film is scheduled to shoot next month in Ireland.

Goode's other recent credits include Match Point and last summer's period drama Brideshead Revisited.
