There is a possibility that Sir Paul McCartney will write the soundtrack to the forthcoming animated sequel Shrek 4. Fans of the series will remember that McCartney lent his Wings composition "Live and Let Die" for inclusion in Shrek 3.

Now a source close to the project told the British paper The Daily Express, "Producers want Paul to compose some original tunes for the next one. He could even briefly voice a character. There have been meetings and apparently he's very keen, because his daughter is a fan." Apparently, when three-year-old Beatrice says "sing," Paul says, "how high?"
