CartMcIntosh Donates Featured Auction Item to John Varvatos 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit

McIntosh is proud to support one of its biggest fans and perennial friend of the brand, John Varvatos, by donating the McIntosh x John Varvatos Custom Built SoHo Audio System and Factory Tour Experience for a charity auction.
The prestigious McIntosh SoHo audio system will also power a special DJ set by "White Wedding" rocker Billy Idol and his son, Willem Wolfe, at the event, which will take place at the John Varvatos boutique in West Hollywood on Sunday, March 10.

The McIntosh x John Varvatos Custom Built SoHo Audio System and Factory Tour Experience, valued at $150,000, will be available to bid on from March 1 through 21 via luxury charity auction site Charitybuzz at www.Charitybuzz.com/JohnVarvatos. Net proceeds from the auction will benefit Stuart House, UCLA's internationally recognized model program serving the special needs of sexually abused children and their families.
The McIntosh x John Varvatos Custom Built SoHo Audio System integrates McIntosh's nostalgic musical heritage and unparalleled audio with the most up-to-date technology, creating a premium audio experience. The 1,200-watt MC1.2kW power amplifiers provide full range and power output to achieve the purest possible sound at all volume levels while XRT1K Loudspeakers maximize the McIntosh power without distortion. The system also includes a C50 Stereo Preamplifier, a MEN220 Room Correction system, and an MPC1500 Power Conditioner to ensure sonic purity. The MT5 Precision Turntable is the included source component, while digital inputs make it possible to stream music in any format through this legendary system.
Along with the McIntosh x John Varvatos Custom Built SoHo Audio System, the winner will receive a private tour of the McIntosh Factory in Binghamton, NY hosted by McIntosh President Charlie Randall and John Varvatos, where he or she will witness firsthand the handcrafted production of their system.
