CartMeg White, Patti Smith’s Son To Tie the Knot

While many people didn’t even know they were together, Meg White of the White Stripes and Fred Smith—the son of Patti Smith and the MC5’s late guitarist, also named Fred Smith—have announced plans to get married on May 22. According to Freep.com, the couple will exchange vows in Nashville.
“They don't want it to be a circus,” a close source was quoted as saying. "They want it to be about the two of them."
