Melissa Etheridge has been banned by Barnes & Noble but she is totally, totally okay with it.
Her sexually explicit song "All the Way Home" has been banned from being broadcast in the bookseller's retail stores. Why?
The retailer is selling the singer's new album This Is M.E., but it didn't want to play the aforementioned song due to its sexual lyrics.
The singer is cool with it and said, "I've been banned from Barnes & Noble. They said, 'We'll play the whole album, but we won't play that song. I have eight-year-old kids and I don't want to have my kids walk into Barnes & Noble, into the kids' section, and hear some lusty lady singing about her thighs… I think it's cool to be banned by Barnes & Noble."
What do you think of Melissa Etheridge being banned?
