Bob Weir's TRI Studios announced additional participating artists and details for "Move Me Brightly: Celebrating Jerry Garcia's 70th Birthday" tribute concert and high-definition live stream presented via TRIStudios.com and Yahoo! Music on Friday, Aug. 3, beginning at 6:30PM PT.
The event features artists from the indie rock/folk, country/bluegrass and jam band worlds, all of whom who have been inspired by the music and lasting legacy of Jerry Garcia.
Participants include: Craig Finn and Tad Kubler of The Hold Steady; Chris Tomson of Vampire Weekend; former Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia Band vocalist Donna Jean Godchaux; Jim Lauderdale; and Sam Cohen and Josh Kaufman of Yellowbirds have joined the one-time-only group of musical performers, led by Weir, which also features previously announced artists Mike Gordon (Phish); Joe Russo (Furthur); Neal Casal (Chris Robinson Brotherhood/Ryan Adams & The Cardinals); Jeff Chimenti (Furthur); Cass McCombs; Jonathan Wilson; and Harper Simon.
