Metro Station, the pop rock/electronica band responsible for the infectious and wildly popular hit "Shake It," are back and better than ever. The group, led by Mason Musso, devoted as much studio time as possible to recording and perfecting new music between plenty of private gigs and live dates. The band is prepping for the August 20 release of the five-track EP Middle of the Night, as well as a fall tour.
The first single off the EP, a high-energy track titled "Every Time I Touch You," takes fans on a classic Metro Station ride – with an updated twist. With a dance-pop sound, the band still manages to stay true to its rock roots and incorporate plenty of synth. "I Still Love You," the EP's only ballad, exposes a more raw and sensitive side of Musso, the longtime creative force behind Metro Station. Another fan favorite is sure to be "I Don't Know You," a catchy and upbeat track with cross-genre appeal that you can't help but sing along to.
So there's your teaser info, Metro Station fans.
