I'd be shocked if this one ever gets off the ground, but TMZ is reporting that the lawyer of the late Michael Jackson's father is preparing to file complaints with various government agencies regarding the way that concert promoter AEG handled Jackson's show in London. It is alleged that group is partially responsible for his untimely death due to the way the organization handled the show and how it abused Jackson. The lawyer is reportedly set to file the complaints on June 25, which marks the one-year anniversary of the King of Pop's death. In another story I reported today, Mr. Jackson also blames his wife, Michael's mother Katherine, for his son's death, as well.

This suit sounds remarkably similar to the one the widow of David Carradine levied against the production company handling her husband's final film. Carradine was on location when he was found hanging in a closet and his widow claims that since the film company promised an assistant would coordinate her husband's travel and transport and went MIA for an evening, they are in the wrong.

Are these two separate but sort of equal lawsuits a joke? Do they have any legal weight behind them? Shouldn't we all let the dead rest in peace?
