Security has been stepped up around Michael Jackson's tomb in California after soulless vandals defaced the star's resting place with permanent ink tributes. While I can understand wanting to leave your mark or show your respects and prove that you visited the site, this type of behavior is unacceptable. Show some respect and leave the tomb as is and don't deface it.
Jackson was interred at the Forest Lawn Cemetery memorial in Glendale, California following his death last year and fans have shown up at the site to pay their respects ever since Jackson was laid to rest, but some mourners have taken to writing tributes, including "Miss you sweet angel" and "Keep the dream alive." While these comments are innocuous and innocent and most likely heartfelt, it is disrespectful to Jackson and his memory and family. Especially his kids. Keep your words and pens to yourself.
Officials at Forest Lawn are angry about the markings, because many were made using permanent ink.
What would you write on MJ's tomb? Any suggestions on how officials can remove the ink?
