Michael Jackson This Is It Touring Lawsuit Dropped

Promoters behind Michael Jackson's doomed This Is It tour have dropped their $17.5 million claim to collect on an insurance policy.
Lloyds of London chiefs sued AEG bosses after Jackson's death, claiming that they failed to disclose important information about the King of Pop's medical history before they offered him a policy. AEG tried to collect on the insurance payout, too.
A representative for Lloyds of London told CNN.com that "in exchange for AEG withdrawing its insurance claim, underwriters agreed to dismiss AEG from the case and to waive any costs recoverable from AEG."
