Michael Sheen Lands on New Moon
British character actor Michael Sheen, perhaps best known for playing Prime Minister Tony Blair in The Queen, has joined the cast of New Moon.Sheen will portray the leader of The Volturi, an Italian coven of vampires, in the Twilight sequel, which is currently shooting in Vancouver. Sheen is no stranger to such fantastical thematic territory, having played a werewolf in the Underworld franchise, the most recent being Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans.
The film bows on November 20.
