Miley Cyrus Announces New Album "Younger Now"

Last night, Miley Cyrus announced her new album, Younger Now, would be out September 29th. The news came via the singer's website. There was no other information given about the record, just the title stitched to what appears to be a black leather jacket and some country-style embroidery.
Earlier this year, Cyrus released two new tracks, "Malibu" and "Inspired", which saw the singer returning to her pop-country roots. We assume both will be on the album. Information surrounding the record remains scarce, but it seems as if the singer desires to do things herself this time around. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, said of the LP, "This is Miley leaning into her roots more than I've ever heard. For her, this is honest."
Miley has reportedly ditched many of her past collaborators to work on the music herself, saying, "My main concern isn't radio. I truly don't even listen to it."
Though we don't know much about the album, it does seem like the singer's return to her roots has been generally embraced. "Malibu" reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and became her first song to do so since 2013's "Wrecking Ball". It was Cyrus' ninth Top 10 hit overall.
