Miley Cyrus TV Special Investigated for Violating Standards

The FCC reportedly received so many viewer complaints after the NBC special Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour aired during the Fourth of July weekend that an investigation into the content has been launched.
The low-rated special was considered a ratings bomb, even though it featured footage from the tour and behind-the-scenes. It only nabbed 2.2 million viewers, but that is the least of the problems pertaining to the show.
Viewers complained about Cyrus's tour costumes and her onstage antics. This sounds like a hatchet job of a right wing group, since the special was so poorly viewed.
The FCC is looking into whether or not the program violated rules on broadcasts with sexually explicit material. The network could be fined.
