Miranda Cosgrove, formerly of iCarly, has filed a lawsuit against her former bus driver over an August 2011 tour bus crash. She was en route to a gig when the bus collided with a tractor trailer, leaving the singer and actress with a broken ankle.

She was forced to cancel the tour and had to have surgery, and endured months of physical therapy after the crash.

Cosgrove's mother Chris also sustained injuries in the crash.

The Cosgroves are taking legal against their bus driver and the tractor operator, as well as the execs at each transportation company. Their suit says that they were "disfigured and disabled" by the crash and that they cannot live normal lives because of it. Sounds like it was a pretty horrific crash.

The pair is seeking $50,000 in damages, which doesn't seem like much.

What's your opinion on this case?
