    Long MIA rapper Missy Elliott will release two new singles in early September. That's NEXT WEEK!

    Elliott last released an album, The Cookbook, back in 2005. Her follow up Block Party has been a work in progress since 2008. She has remained occasionally active by doing features on singles by Katy Perry and J Cole.

    The songs are called "9th Inning" and "Triple Threat," according to a tweet by Elliott collaborator Timbaland. They will drop on Labor Day weekend, which is next weekend!
