In 2015, Moby opened a vegan restaurant in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles called Little Pine. Now, in another animal friendly move, the electronic musician has announced all profits from the eatery will be going directly to animal welfare groups. Representatives for the restaurant stated,
"Opening little pine was never meant to be a conventional entrepreneurial endeavor. I want it to represent veganism in a really positive light, and also to support the animal welfare organizations who do such remarkable work."
It's a tremendous move from the always thoughtful musician, and Los Angeles' eater reports that the charities Moby will be giving to include, "The Humane Society, Farm Sanctuary, Sea Shepherd, PETA, Animal Legal Defense Fund," as well as others. For those in the Los Angeles with rabid appetites and compassion for creatures of all kind, Little Pine is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week.
