MSTRKRFT have returned with "Little Red Hen," their first new song since 2011. The song was premiered on A-Trak's Beats 1 show, "Day Off Radio." The track unveiling was followed by an interview with Jesse F. Keeler and Al-P, the duo who make up MSTRKRFT.
The band last released a full album in 2009, Fist of God (Dim Mak). The band have also announced an upcoming album, ?, though no release date has been set. In 2014, Keeler released a new album with his other project, Death From Above 1979. It was DFA 1979's first album in a decade. Al-P produced the band's first album, 2004's You're A Woman, I'm A Machine (Vice).
The Canadian electronic music duo is currently set to play four shows during this year's South by Southwest. There are currently no other dates scheduled for the band to play. Hopefully, with new music being out and an album due out sometime in the future, MSTRKRFT will be back to playing live shows everywhere soon.
Death From Above 1979 will be touring Canada throughout April and May. The concert series begins April 26th at Vancouver's PNE Forum. The series of shows will take the band across their native country and visit Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal, and others, finishing up May 8th in Quebec.
