Mumford & Sons are the poster children for modern folk rock, but it's not a banner they will solely wave.

Despite landing at No. 1 with this year's Babel, frontman and Carey Mulligan's husband Marcus Mumford said the band plans to switch things up on the follow up, which will be their third album.

"We've always done what feels good, rather than what we've thought long and hard about, and we'll do whatever feels soulful next, whether that's with an electric guitar or a synthesizer," Mumford said to Style.

So they will not simply stick to one thing. They will do whatever feels good to them, which they are well within their rights to do.
