Murderdolls to Play Two California Shows

Murderdolls, the recently resurrected and restored glam/punk/rock project of Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and his cohort Wednesday 13, will play two shows in California later this month, casting a fiendish shadow over the warm and sunny Golden State with their brand of irreverent, middle-finger-in-the-air rock 'n' roll. This is, after all, a band that boasts a song titled, "I Like to Say Fuck." The band's long awaited second album, Women and Children Last, is slated for release through Roadrunner Records this August. If you like horror references and that whole "boy-kills-girl" dark romantic thing, then Murderdolls will fill your iPod ear buds.
The band will play the Glass House in Pomona on June 15 and will follow up that show with an appearance at the Key Club in Los Angeles on June 17. So if you are hanging out on the lovely Left Coast and residing in So Cal, get your ass out to these gigs on the quick.
As soon as fans caught wind of the shows, the venues were bombarded with phone calls from fans demanding more information. The calls came from fans across the globe, from locations as vast and varied as Russia, the UK and Texas. The news travelled fast and fans wanted to know more. That's what I call dedication. And famine! Since Murderdolls played only 15 shows in the US to support their 2002 debut, Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls.
What is your favorite horror-tinged rock band? What is your favorite horror movie?
